How to SE a Hexbug.

Step 1: Find the product from http://hexbug.com you want to social engineer. If you pick an expensive hexbug it’s most likely they will ask for pictures or a receipt so I suggest you pick an original Hexbug.

Step 2: Find the correct email on the website of Hexbug. If you are in the EU the email for it is eusales@hexbug.com . Find it by going to http://www.hexbug.com/contact .

Step 3: Send an email with the subject ‘complaint’. Now this is where the excuse comes in. Say something along the lines of: ‘I recently purchased a (colour here) (Hexbug name here) for my grandson. He complained of it not functioning correctly so I purchased new hexbug batteries for it but it was still faulty. Unfortunately he was quite upset about it. Please assist me in this issue Thanks (Name Here)’ Change it around a bit then click send.

Step 4: If all goes well they will say sorry and ask for a postal address and you send it to them and then wait for your hexbug.

People post tutorials on how to SE random little shit that nobody ever knows about until they hear it from the tutorial.
When an SE tutorial comes along about real products we need, then I'll be interested.
