1. Why you would like to be mentored
I like learning and I would like to have someone experienced teach me. For instance, I failed at a Logitech SE just today and and I followed steps that people left. I used an Amazon order number that was previously used for something else. They cross referenced it and told me it wasn't a Logitech product. If I had been mentored then I feel I would be more informed and clean with my SE methods. Also I enjoy learning. I'm going to college at 16 to try to get my com sci degree. I'm motivated and I like working with other people.
2. Why you need to be mentored
I'm not 100% comfortable on SEing by myself. I've had more failures than success. The failures motivated me to keep going however and I'm trying to learn the best way. SEing I've realized is an art that takes practice and skill to perfect and just like anything in life requires a mentor. I'm fairly new to SEing. I've lurked other forums and found this forum as really welcoming to new individuals and they really take the idea of "No dumb questions" to the next level. I think I need to be mentored because it would be good for me to pick up skills I wouldn't have normally thought about or even known how to do and I like working with other people.
3. What can you show me that proves to me that you are dedicated.
I'm dedicated and my life shows that. I workout, play basketball, and maintain good grades. I put academics first and then leisure. I know what the grind is. Whether it be trying to diagnose a computer issue for a whole day, to working out, to even learn what interests me. I have good computer hardware skills, I can communicate well with other people but all of this was never natural to me. I wasn't always that straight A student or computer geek that relatives went to for help, or that person that people call up 6 am because they want to grind and get better at basketball. Dedication was what brought me to improve myself and be the best and put my full effort forth.
