Tutorial How to crack a website via port 21 (FTP)

I need help. I've been working on a project, but can't seem to figure this out.

I need to exploit port 21 on a website, but i cant seem to get it down.

Can someone please help?

Stating the obvious, Is the port open to begin with? Also, what have you tried thus far?

Yes the port is open

i tried doing a few FTP port exploits using Metasploit

I was going to suggest Metasploit.

I assume you've used Nmap to scan the port, and then searched for exploits using SearchSploit?

I was going to suggest Metasploit.

I assume you've used Nmap to scan the port, and then searched for exploits using SearchSploit?

Yes that was my first, and second, step.

So what're the exact Issues you're experiencing?
