How To Get Access to Content Hidden for Guests in a Forum

Suppose you want to read some content in a Forum you highly dislike or if a Forum is invite-only, for whatever reasons.
If it's the first case then you can either kill your self-respect and join the no-good of a Forum for just one content, or you can follow the below tricks to read them as a Guest.

One of the popular Forum scripts is MyBB, because it's Free and easier to setup, control and modify.

You can access the content by:

• Finding the Content in the Archives
  
• Changing ShowThread.php to PrintThread.php
  
• Using a Search-engine Bot disguise as your User-agent
  

Finding the Content in the Archives

This is the Template:

http://www.forumname.ext/archive/index.php/thread-10.html

Change the green part to your needs.
If archives is not disabled AND the thread exists then you can get the content you want.

Changing ShowThread.php to PrintThread.php

You normally get a thread link like this:

http://www.forumname.ext/showthread.php?tid=10

Change the green part to your needs, and change the red Part i.e. "show" to "print"

http://www.forumname.ext/printthread.php?tid=10

If the thread exists then you can read the thread you want.

Using a Search-engine Bot disguise as your User-agent

This may or may not work, like the other options, but you can have access to even thread attachments if it does.

You would need a plugin/add-on in your Browser to do this.
If you are using Firefox you will need:
User Agent Switcher

Just install it in your Browser, then you just have to switch your User-agent in the Add-on menu.
Change it to Google-bot/Yahoo! bot and try to open the Thread you want.
