Hello, wanted to share with the community something I've recently experienced. There are 2 easy ways that works to get tickets for the cinema refunded or receive free passes.

Method 1: In-App refund
I usually buy the tickets online or directly from the theater app, and the app allows you to get a n automatic refund till the moment the movie starts, so basically just send in the request before the start of the movie and you'll get tickets refunded (Cinemark app).

Method 2: Infested theater room
It happened way before I knew about SE world that once in this Cinema I saw couple of rats running like maniacs and partying with all the chips and popcorn that people drop. And that recently gave me the idea to call/email after watching a movie and say that had to leave because there were rats. They will most probably apologize for the inconvenience and provide passes for a few movies.

Ps.: There are many different theater's companies out there and some apps may work differently or address the rats issue in a different way, so you may get different results.

I can't see any reason why this would fail.

The good thing about this strategy Is that It will be very difficult, If not Impossible, to prove the rats didn't exist at the time of the claim.

True but does this really ever happen. I mean what kind of ghetto cinema has rats??
Would say that a used condom on the floor would be as effective and still much more believeable.

Rats Infest any type of complex - It's their nature, particularly when food Is left lying around.

I've worked In food Industries with a very clean environment, whereby pest control was quite strict (done weekly), and we still found traces of rats & faeces.

Correct, couldn't agree more. Like I said in the first post I saw rats myself in the theater room. Believe or not but most of public places (from restaurants to airports or even schools) are infested.
