I apologize if this info has been posted before, but I figured as my first post I should post something of value before I start asking a bunch of noob ass questions lol at least I will have hopefully contributed some value before asking stupid stuff. Because frankly SE 'methods' are new to me, although the more I read this site the more I realize I have done this before, even if legitimately.

So anyway I notice a lot of people talking about trying to create Amazon receipts. I still haven't learned yet why this would be useful (I MAY have figured it out, but not sure). But I know a way to make the receipt look 100% authentic because, well, you will be changing an authentic receipt.

METHOD
-Just go into your amazon and go to your orders, and look for your orders and select one. You can either edit that page, or click to 'printable order summary'
-Now, type in this code in your address bar

-Notice that chrome removes the javascript part so you have to manually type that every time. You wont notice a change. But if you click anywhere and start typing, you will start noticing the page change.
-Edit the receipt to your liking. Someone mentioned old receipt generator not working because it didn't have links or something. If I am understanding correctly. You can change the links on the page too,  for example "seller profile".
Right Click>inspect>right click link in the dev box, and click Edit as HTML. Then change the link to your choosing (another product/seller etc). (Notice I changed link below to fb)
-You can now even SAVE AS PDF and your fake changes will be saved! (I have been fake editing pages like this for over a decade but never realized this until I just tried it).

Understand that this can be used on virtually any website to edit webpages.. screenshots.... (which is why I don't believe 'earnings proof' or whatever screenshots any longer (10 years ago).
Hope someone finds this useful, and if I posted in the wrong thread it can be moved, I just figured it relates to editing receipts, and I will be using for SE projects.
