Kind of happened by accident but I took full advantage.  I had ordered 2 powder insecticides to deal with a flea issue I'm having. The next day I also ordered $400 headphones. To m y surprise they all came in one box.  I chatted witrh Amazon and the fool scheduled a UPS pickup for the headphones.

I missed the first 2 pickups and read UPS's hazardous material terms for an hour. I then chatted with Amazon and told them UPS refused the pickup as it was  a hazard risk. He put me on hold and then said he could refund me.

I asked for conformation number or email but he kind of turned into a dick at that point so I just screenshot everything.

I'll update in a few days because we know how these chat reps lie and even will tell you a false name.

I always think of that Seinfeld episode with the parking where George goes "I'll die out here" whenever I do a SE refund.  You have to think like that when they try to play tough.

Update already. 5 minutes later got an email they cant refund unless i send item back. So I had to get nasty. I swear I live for this more than getting the item free. This time i just took credit and we will see in a few hours if it works or I get to go even more nuclear.

Great blog the one about using the serial number as warranty to get replacement items was something I never thought of. Even though your from the UK right you have so many good articles.

Just to share them is great but I doubt many people realize how much time it takes to write that much unless you speed type. Thanks for the info. I knew about your blog before this site.

I generate a lot of time to write articles, all of which must be accurate and worded In a manner that's catered for SE'ers of all shapes and sizes.

It takes a lot more time than that.

Each article must be grammatically correct, Inclusive of written In the right context and extremely accurate. And prior to publishing, It's proofread twice over.

and there are so many more articles than I first thought.

I love when I have free time and am not threatening to put Bezos head in a box to sit and read your articles for a couple hours.  Between that site and your what 62,000 posts here you write a lot.

I certainly do write a lot.

I hit around 100 WPM which helps greatly.

I do that in emails that were supposed to be 5 minutes and suddenly 2 hours are gone and the email is massive. forum posts and especially texts. I actually have to reread them and edit them to trim as many words as possible.

I know exactly what you mean.

I go through It every day.

I like your attitude in the blog.  Always have a plan and just keep at it.

Oh one last thing. One of the Indian's had the nerve to say the package weight was good when for 3 days I told them that you sent me a 20 pound soundbar and it said on the  label 62 pounds.

He obviously had nothing better to say about the claim, so decided to communicate nonsense.
