Step 1
Contact Antlion via their ticket support or email with something like this as your opening message:
“Hi, I purchased a Modmic 4.0 in 2016 and recently my friends have commented about lots of buzzing and interference noises whenever the aux input is moved slightly, and the mic only seems to work in a certain position. Is there any way to get a replacement?”

Step 2
They’ll reply with some troubleshooting tips and also ask for a recording, this is where you can either record something where you intentionally cause static and feedback by moving the Aux input or just corrupt a file and send it.

Step 3
If you’re successful you’ll receive an Email like this:





Step 4
Send them the payment and your shipping address.

Much to my surprise, they actually waived their requirement (procedure) to send the defective Item. This demonstrates that there are no hard and fast rules with the terms of a given company.

It's a very niche company who don't expect to be SE'd. I think soon I'd like to find more companies who are similar in this regard. I know @Thom9 wants to try Elgato.

Wasn't out at the time. Also if it had come out too recently then they'll just tell you to go back to your retailer

Ah I see. Well it seems like I have to ship it back to them because we actually have company's that actually sell it. I wished I was in the UK for this one
