1. Search "Amazon Claim Code" on Wikileaks: https://search.wikileaks.org/
   
2. Open up a live chat and explain how you received a promotional code a while ago, but it's not working. Explain that you've retyped it several times.
   
3. They'll explain that your code was already redeemed, as someone else used it. Then they will ask if there's anything else they can help you with.
   
4. Explain that you are very unhappy, that they aren't being helpful, and would like to speak with their supervisor/manager.
   
5. The supervisor will explain that there is nothing they can do.
   
6. Express your discontent once more, asking if there is anything they could do to at least make things up. Ask if they could give you a new promotional code.
   
7. The supervisor should explain that while they don't normally do this, they will make a one time exception, and give you a promotional code.
