[Amazon] Free game keys / game codes 02-20-2019, 08:19 AM

This one is simple, if not widely known. I thought I'd write it anyway.
The T&C's from Amazon state that any serial key sold by them is 100% non refundable and that you will have to take it up with the developer for any issues. However. I've successfully got several codes refunded to me, ranging anywhere from $£18 - $£60+.
Buy a serial code/game key from Amazon that is instantly downloadable / available after purchase. Copy/paste the code into a notepad or redeem it, it doesn't really matter.
Now, go on live chat and tell them that you purchased a serial key and it's giving you an error upon entering it. Explain that you've spoken to the developer over the phone and they've informed you that the code had been used 4-5 days ago and is not a brand new code. This will inform Amazon that it's a fault on their side and they've given out an old code, rather than the unlikely event that it's an invalid code (It can't be invalid as the codes are directly taken from the developer).
At this point, the robot (aka person on Live Chat) will usually copy/paste the usual T&C's and say that all serial keys are none refundable, however, as a one time exception, they will refund you so you can place the order again.
It's as simple as that. If one representative doesn't refund you, use the exact same method about 10 minutes later and you will eventually find somebody who doesn't stick to the script and offers the 'one time exception' of a refund. I've personally had somebody deny me a refund and an hour later, give me a refund. It's purely based on the representative you talk to.
p.s. I once had 6 refunds in a row with Fifa points (20k+ points for free, still didn't get Ronaldo), no idea why they never caught onto it...
They do not void your serial code after they refund you, so if you're wanting to sell it on, you're free to keep the code until you're ready to sell it. You will however lose access to the code from your Amazon account, so if you didn't copy/paste it into a notepad, you've lost it.
