Hey guys, this will be a very short thread as I am quite busy with work, but here we go again.

Had on over to the Orvis Fishing customer care line and explain to them that your 1000$ fly rod snapped in half.

They will say ship it off to them. and give you a label (If they don't ask for one)

Find a medium to large card board tube and put a stick or PVC pipe in it, cut a slit down the side of the package, and tape it back up.

Ship it off and you're good to go.

I personally do alot of fishing, and one of my rods broke from them, so I boxed it instead

Looking at It from a legit standpoint, given the rod snapped In half, It'd be pretty silly for someone to open the package, steal one half of the broken rod and then (obviously knowing It's broken), proceed and take the other half.

If It were my company, I'd be questioning why anyone would want 2 broken pieces of rod. As long as the method works, that's the main thing.
