This is a very simple, (stupid) Joomla version detector.
I know, it's a bit useless. But at least I've tried ....

This will work only under joomla version 2.
Because there are different places and different files to read.

I'd be appreciated if anyone pointed me where I can improve.

Changing the gamma reveals that it was modified. That text looks nothing like the text a console window has by default.

I can't think of any reason, why I would edit the screen shot and why you would think it's modified, and why you would spend your time with the useless screen shot.

That's the software I use to change the lighting. If you still have damn free time, go hack that site and check the source code of the software.

I do have a very analytic mind, it helps me with my problem solving skills, but I can't change that.

@zero-uplink - Not even sure why you're getting upset. I think your own assumptions are giving you your own misguided interpretation of why I posted that, and not my post itself.

I didn't have to check, I could see that it looked odd before I shown the proof by modifying the gamma levels myself. That was purely just for added effect in case others with worse eye-sight could not see what mine eyes could.

I also never said it was malware, so this is evident that you have over-analyzed the words you read in my post and made your own twisted judgement on them. I seen that you provided the source too, but why would I think it's malware? Unless that source is not what was compiled for the download itself, but that is NOT what I was initially instigating, even though it would be a valid argument.

My "useless" screenshot is far from useless though as it sheds light on the areas of the image that were modified. Look at what you just said here though:

Very contradicting. You say you wouldn't waste time modifying the image, yet admittedly state the program you used to change the lighting (on the image presumably). Yet you confront me like I'm a bad guy for thinking that the image is modified? Even though it is...

... You've already blown this way out of proportion. I was just posting for my own curiosity and awaiting an answer on why the image looked modified. Apparently I was just given one. You can't sit there and tell me that this image was not modified though. I know my digital image formats and graphics very well.

When I mean "I use to change the lighting", I mean the whole monitor screen itself. I won't spend my time modifying the image, which is stupid, and useless.

It's clear that you don't go to that website and see the software itself. If you go to that site, and read the description, everything becomes clear.

I don't modify anything, this is the software that does it. That software changed my monitor lighting. I don't intend to modify anything!! I'm a noob in graphics. Even if I would like to modify, I don't have the skill.

You said this in such a way that I see it as accusing me for making fake screenshot, and by doing this, making you to download the file.
Therefore I take it as , posting fake screenshots and distributing malware.

Now consider this...
When you are selling something in the street, and someone come to you and said, "Hey the chair you're sitting seems so fake." How would you response?
