I do believe I've seen this thread around somewhere once before. Something to have that's very important most forum creators lack is funds. Money is really important for advertising, hiring web developers, paying hosting costs, and other website construction fee's you're going to run into. Without money you're going nowhere and that's the reality of it. I agree with most of what this thread says and I think it's a great starting read to anyone looking to start their own online community.
