Tips for CS:GO #1
[Image: 360px-Csgo_logo.jpg]

I believe many members here play CS:GO, as I myself brought in the steam sale this week I need some beginner tips/guide so I don't suck at it. So if anyone can help please reply.

RE: Tips for CS:GO #3
1) Don't move and shoot.
2) Learn spray patterns of rifles and learn how to control them
3) Play with your DPI and sensitivity, you want to be using your whole arm and utilise all your mouse mat.
4) Practice with movement. Learn maps offline and practice moving around them.
5) NEVER crouch and move.
6) Keep your crosshair at head-height so you can easily get the headshot when an enemy appears infront of you.

@Master Hit me and @Alex up on here asking for our Steam an we can teach you. Alex is in NA and I'm in UK, so you'll be set on decent ping and decent instructor.

Besides what they already told you:
- Use the AK or the M4, it will be hard to play vs SMGs at the beginning but it will be worth it in the long run
- Watch pro games: they will teach you a lot
- Watch WarOwl on youtube, he's a good teacher
- Read the guides that you find on steam, they are very helpful

Good luck and don't go alone!

I can personally teach you, I'll edit this when I'm at my house and can post my steamid.

http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198206028512/

Step 1 - Follow @lux , his steps are actually really good.
Step 2 - Shift walk within 1/4 the map of someone [rough guess for audio distance] http://i.imgur.com/wYKCPlJ.png
Step 3 - When the bomb is planted and it's a 1v1, odds are they have a really good guess of where you are, tossing flashbangs or nades often isn't too bad of an idea [I'll show if/when you add]
Step 4 - DON'T PANIC!!!!
Step 5 - Don't crouch walk, I will slap you...
Step 6 - Learn some nades https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2BdjE3...xZRRnWgdUg Has some amazing nade spots
Step 7 - If you're losing and your team is toxic, just mute them, we don't need people getting angry, I usually play with nice calming music on or I tend to lose my cool.
Step 8 - I hate the default things, they get in my way quite a bit, don't be afraid to edit your configs.

I think you can learn by just keep playing. Talk to the people in game and don't worry about losing. Like many people here are saying, use the M4 and AK. I prefer the M4A1-S, but that's just because I have skins for it. I also tap fire with all of my weapons.

I have almost about 630 CS:GO hours, of all gameplay in MM or ESEA/CEVO/FACEIT.

I do play Esea mainly now. Follow @lux and some of @ProfessorChill tips, and you should be fine, they've basically said everything you need to know, and DeatMatch... Deathmatch at least 2-3 hours a day, and learn spray patterns that way, 1 clicking is in-consistent now don't let people fool you saying you should 1 tap 24/7, look at Shroud or some other good players that have crazy Sprays.
If you need help you can add me as well, I am a NA player so yeah just pm and I can provide my steam!
Also, I am around ak level.
