I used the select tool and made a rectangle under the line, took a white brush turned the hardness to 0% and made a large line, Then I adusted a few more things.

You can make a white line using the Line Tool or Rectangle Tool in Photoshop. Then add Motion Blur in a horizontal line and then add a Gaussian Blur to it, then remove the top section over the divider. Well that is one of the many ways to do it.

Depends on how strong you made the red, as I think it would've looked decent with a little red tint to it.. :3

I also tried to make the line itself red which looked horrible.

The hearts looks like 3 sparrows on a tree lol. But, it actually looks quite nice.
