This Week's Easy UK SE'S - Jump on board.. #1
Morning all,

I just thought I'd share a couple of successful SE completed this week.

Mars UK - Uncle Ben's rice food safety product recall - They have put a recall out for Uncles Ben's rice having being contaminated with glass and offering a full refund on all purchases, asking you to dispose of the item ASAP.

I've completed this twice this week one using genuine details, fake amazon pop for 60 x packets at a cost of Β£60 πŸ˜‰. No problems or queries withing 4 days Β£60 cash into the bank.

Using fake details (Email, address, name ect) I've successfully managed to complete it again getting a Β£55 (lowered amount purchased πŸ˜‰) amazon voucher.

Dell UK - Still seem very easy to SE Via serial number - Just napped a serial number from store (Display model) contacted them via the live chat (what's app) faulty 27" 4K UHD monitor over Β£500, after a few days they asked for serial numbers ect and the picture. Got confirmation email this morning with a replacement on route, I was told on the what's app chat that they wouldn't need me to return the old monitor and to just dispose of (obviously the burning smell with trying to turn it on helps).

Just a couple of ideas Β£60 isn't amazing but for 10 mins work πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜.

Thanks

Good work.

In terms of Dell, I understand that they've said to dispose of the monitor, but are you sure they haven't approved your claim under their "Advanced Exchange Service?".

Nice post. Would be good to look at other product recalls and take advantage of that also.

Where can I create a fake amazon POP? The site I used to use is not working anymore.

I edited one of my real order receipts in HTML.

@bburnsey I wonder if they check the Amazon order number.

Either way I have started this SE so I am waiting for email to send the receipt and other info.

Thanks for sharing. I’m assuming it doesn’t have to be an Amazon receipt? (For the Uncle Ben’s SE).

Hi all,

Tbh they never asked for a proof of purchase but because I wasn't claiming the usual Β£2.00 as most people would only buy 1 or 2 packets of rice. I gave them a fake amazon POP for 60 packets explaining I'm an international lorry driver and can be away for 4 weeks at a time so I practically live off the microwavable rice πŸ˜‰..

I filled in the online form and never got a response very slow, so I called the number given on the product recall page and they processed it there and then. So if you don't recieve a response in a couple of days ring the number..

Product recalls are very easy to SE from my experience.

Cheers
