Note: Killing GWX.exe will just make it do the update on reboot anyways so you're fucked either way. That's what I've been told, at least.

Hence I never deal with OEM OSes.

I've performed a clean Installation of Windows (removing all OEM trash) on all Windows 8 PCs at the time, and killed the Windows Update service thereafter. Not once have I received a notification to upgrade to Windows 10.
I must say, forcing It's end users to upgrade to Windows 10 Is simply not on.

Well shit. I don't want to upgrade to windows 10. I've got Win10 on an extra drive laying around. But I want to use Windows 7 until the bitter end.
