Swapping item but not the same #1
Hi there so I have these gucci jeans that are real but they have a very small hole and I don’t want to wear them or get them repaired. Do you think if I buy a similar pair of jeans and then message support saying they sent the wrong jeans they would accept the return. They no longer sell these jeans I wear so it sounds difficult to do.

In my head I’m thinking if I return my old jeans then I cant send it back in the plastic packaging they cover the jeans with first because it would have the label on it for the original jeans on that plastic cover. Or do you think that is fine and they will just refund me.

Also these jeans are out of stock and they no longer sell them so if they don’t hold any stock will they be like that’s not possible.

Any advice is useful thanks

- You would buy directly from Gucci?
Ideally, purchase from a distributor, they would be less meticulous about any given item's details if they did not manufacture it.

- Buy/return multiple items, as much as possible, all in perfect unopened condition, with the wrong item deep inside the package.
They may check first items on top, note their perfect condition, then get sloppy & consider the rest of the order good to go.

- Lesser difference between purchased item / frankenstein return the better, only keep what you really have to (the actual jeans).
Return as much of the packaging / seals / tags as possible.

- Two strategies :
A) Be slightly sloppy, just enough to act dumb & pretend you mistakenly returned the wrong item if they find out, so you still can return the one you kept.
B) Be as meticulous as possible (reseal everything) to reduce chances of them finding out, but prepare for the worst if they do : rebill, and/or being unable to return what you kept, ending up with an expense you may not have wanted.
