So, in this guide, we'll be learning to make a shutdown shortcut on Windows 7. This is useful for a number of reasons: I, for one, have mine named "Not porn" with a folder icon, so that if a friend where to find my laptop unlocked, they'd click that and shut down for me 
So.
Right click, and select: New < Shortcut, which will open a window like this.

In that box, type the following:
You will then be prompted to choose a name. Anything will work.
From there, on your desktop, you will see the shortcut. Right click it, and select "properties". Then, navigate to the "shortcut" tab and select "Change icon"

Then, choose one, hit apply, and you're done! Congrats

So.
