[EBDEMON]

@mothered , @EBDEMON  and @Z4YN0112 UPDATE:  So the driver called me to say he could slot me in for earlier delivery as noticed i was close and asked me to meet him outside so i did and he handed me the parcel, not a photo or signature logged for proof of delivery. I think this sounds good for DNA but my concern is the circumstances of delivery as only i could have got the phone call for collection ? Will it get the driver in trouble or is this a case of it not making it to investigation due to lack of signature when it said one would be required?  Cheers guys for the help

just do eb it’s an even easier process they require what I stated and has no repercussions towards the driver

[Alexinoo]

You could do DNA, in case that fails, call back and state item was left with a neighbor and do partial. If that fails then its time to do a return.

I believe mothered advised you to DNA, depending on where you went to collect this parcel if its far from your delivery location - they are able to see geolocation at time of delivery. What is the status of this now and what did you decide to go with ?

I have two pairs should i just do one and return the other ? @Z4YN0112

@Alexinoo I may have miscommunicated, when i said to collect the parcel, the driver just said to meet me outside of my flat (I live in a flat and the building is also surrounded by other flats)  id say about a 15-meter walk from the entrance. I'm yet to contact them as don't want to do an incorrect thing.

I believe mothered advised you to DNA

I did no such thing:

ill go for the EB on one pair

At one point, they were asking for a national document/ID card when EB'ing.

Hopefully It's not the case now.

Tried to eb sunglasses hut glasses for 800£ they are asking for id and trying to do an investigation with ups , I tried chargeback before with Amex but then ups replied and said my address is fraudeulent because my dior parcel were actually getting lost , I need some advice do I just go through with it

Did you pull of a SE from Dior bro? And with sunglasses hut it’s normal for them to ask for ID they did to me last year I haven’t done over £450 but would imagine you’ll still be fine.

I just got my money back for a 1000$ order with FTDI at sunglass
I waited 2 weeks before asking for a refund, it was instantaneous on the phone

I think we should seriously stop making DNA requests when the delivery person has handed you the package or for certain expensive products (Apple etc.), investigations are becoming more and more effective and many suppliers are using payment solutions such as Adyen that allow a correlation between orders, it greatly simplifies the detection of fraud and internal investigations

Congraulations.
Why did you wait? Why does that matter for the FTID method?
Was it a single item or multiple?

I agree, we are going to burn out DNA like amazon.

@mothered so just got an email that it will be delivered tomorrow and will require a signature, do I either sign legit and go for the EB or sign badly and go for the dna ?

If i was you i would fake sign anyways, if there are no pictures taken you should go for the dna. If a picture is taken EB

hit eb anyways it’s too easy they will  want a photo of the empty box and return label and after that the ups man will collect the box as a return and say u threw in the bin

so you're claiming delivery box was empty, with no trace of the order whatsoever?
