Did anyone tried to EB goggles with Oakley ? I'm wondering if they crosscheick weight (as it will be more than 150g) or if they just process refund as easily as they are for sunglasses.

All the things I'm writing here are pure fiction (yes I have a lot of imagination)

Do note that Oakley definitely has CCTV cameras In place.

Also (at times) they request your ID & signature to move forward with the claim.

Hey @mothered I have done a eb on rayban sunglasses about a year ago. Is it ok to use the same personal info (name, address, email, etc) with oakley or I should use other info since they both belong in luxottica group.

I immediately went into chat and claimed EB: I was asked whether I wanted refund or replacement and to send some pics to an email.
The next morning I got a weird automated email detailing how I was to send an unknown something back, and at my own expense too. In the same email, though, the return status showed up as "Finalized".
I was getting ready to contact Oakley via chat again when I got a 2nd email, this time by the same agent I had first talked to via chat, telling me the refurn had been processed. No mention of a return whatsoever.
I told myself to wait and see without contacting them about it, and I was right: close to midnight I got an automated email saying that my return had been "Approved / refunded" and, right after, I got some from Klarna telling my payments to Oakley had been suspended and refunded.
I already have my money back this morning  Wink

Long story short: it looks like many companies (Oakley, Ray Ban, even Meta) process refunds as if they were returns, even though there's nothing to return.
So don't get worried when you see the word "return" appear in some email: most of the times it's automated and they don't really expect you sending anything back to them.

Yes, even sunglass hut do that, some days ago the ups currier came for the package that I claimed as EB, but the refund was completed so he went with nothing XD

how did you handle the situation? did he agree not to take the empty box after you explained the situation?
