Recently I have moved to another country and am currently living with a few other people from another country as well.
They had internet access when I got here and have a wireless router. I also brought a USB antenna to boost my signal and installed the CD that came with it.

Everything worked well however ever since I can remember, my Internet access can just vanish at random! It will start by trying to load a page and taking a long time and then finally the usual "Page cannot be displayed" but if I try to refresh or click the URL and press enter it won't even try to re-load and it will leave me on the same screen.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the antenna or not... btw, is it a good idea to have my PC's wireless and the antenna connected to the same network? Would that boost my ping and transfer rate and whatnot?

Either way, the wireless protection is WPA2 and the password is still the one that comes with it which is a really long string of letters and numbers.

My theories are that either someone has some kind of program to know the password from the name of the router...
Or, based on what I studied about hacking wireless, for WPA you need to de-authenticate a client... so that might be another possibility...

Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

I will try to change the password of course, but it is strange how I just suddenly lose my internet access out of nowhere!
Some times I can re-gain it by connecting with the other wi-fi (if I'm using the antenna and it happens, sometimes I can regain access if I change to the PC's wireless and vice-versa) but even if that happens, if the 2nd option gives me the same error, usually I can only get it fixed after I restart my computer.


So, what might this be?

And what causes me to not have internet access but seeing that I am connected on the toolbar?

Btw, I am using windows 8 64 bit at the moment...

This things happens,because many contry have a block to the net.In the other way,your wireless maybe is not supported by the country-for esample here i'm run on wind and vodafone and 3g but in romania they may have only cosmotel or wind -if you have a vodafone you cannot used because they don't offer supply for vodafone-the bandwitch is blocked for another use.Do you understend? -try to talk and buy if neccesarly a router or modem for the country.

The thing is, the router we have here IS Italian, they bought it and it belongs to Wind by the way...

But I forgot to mention also that my friend came with me here, but her computer never had any kind of problem
