Steering Wheel/Racing Wheel #1
I am trying to plan how to refund a steering wheel, preferably a G29.

Anyone got any good ideas/advice? These are my thoughts so far
EB is obviously not going to work due to the high weight.
Wrong item received could work (My plan would be to say I received a cheaper steering wheel of similar weight and hopefully return that but it seems like that could go wrong easily if they catch on somehow)
Not sure about DNA. Carrier will be Aus Post most likely and I don't doubt an actual investigation may be opened and it might just end with AusPost saying the package was delivered safely if a signature was required upon delivery which would result in no refund. I am sure PayPal would side with seller as well as I have read they often side with sellers when tracking shows delivered.
Can't use disposed of faulty item or anything as they would ask me to return it I'm pretty sure.
Thanks

Who's the company?

It can be any stock Item, preferably from the same category as the steering wheel.

Every method Is susceptible to failure.

Australia Post Is pretty disorganized with their Investigations.

It's simply part of protocol, so there's no cause for concern.

Not at all.

A signature Is a useless form of verification. Anyone could've signed, even the carrier driver - which I continue to experience on a weekly basis.

I am debating between logitechg.com, harvey norman, kogan and catch. Do you have any recommendations regarding which to choose?

In response to your other answers, I guess it seems more logical for a DNA rather than a wrong item received as it may overcomplicate things.

Harvey Norman Is pretty difficult to deal with - both In-store, and online. Cogan and Catch are quite similar, and a little more flexible than Harvey Norman. Logitechg.com speaks for Itself.

Does JB Hi-Fi sell the product In question?

You know what to do with the DNA - check who's liable for loss of goods, and the type of verification on delivery.

JB-HI-FI does sell it, and I have checked that they ship using AusPost eParcel.
Upon reading their terms and conditions, I am unsure whether they take responsibility or not and how to proceed. Do you have any advice/experience regarding JB-HI-FI?

From their terms and conditions, "Risk and title in Goods passes to you on the date and time of delivery of the Goods to the delivery address provided in your Order." Also, " If you provide “authority to leave”, we will leave the Goods at the agreed place. Risk and title in Goods passes to you at this time and you will bear the risk of any loss or theft of the Goods." Is this bad for a DNA?

In simple terms, It means that the moment "It's delivered to your address", you're responsible for It thereafter.

It's still DNA'able, for the reason that you'll be claiming you haven't received the package at your address.

This Is standard policy with the majority of carriers.

Put simply, If "you" Instruct to leave the package at a given place at your home, you're responsible for loss of goods.
