Hello, failed a dna recently because i turned on the device and connected it with my account. Thinking on doing a ftid with my own labell , anyone tried ? thanks

It's common sense and told a lot of times here on snstr to not turning on for any reasons any electronic devices during an SE... By the way i don't think they are responsible for loss if you use your own label.
Recently i've read someone here on the forum that they obtained a prepaid lable from valve. Maybe in that case there could be some chances to have a success with ftid.

If you were gona do that at least have al alt and load pirated games.
Or at least use a turkish/Argentine account and just rebuy the games for nothing.

I'm for the same idea.. I'd just return it legit and try again with another account and new acc details.
I think it could raise even more suspicion to try to ftid after claimed DNA.

Last time I did Steam Deck refund it was with EB. If that doesn't work I would do chargeback. Steam doesn't reply to chargebacks.

But in case they respond they would have all the proofs to win the chargeback since the op has turned on and linked the device with the same account/details used for the order.

You answered the question yourself. Nowhere they respond to chargebacks. Your Steam account will be banned/restricted for doing it.

...Or return legit if he's still in the return windows. He could address that a brother took it and used it and didn't tell him or some sort of story like this.
