Personally I use soundcloud, but everyone I know has spotify

[so8band]

as a consumer spotify
as a creator soundcloud.
so it depends on what you are curating

I use Spotify as my daily driver but I've been experimenting with Tidal for that nice HQ streaming, sounds really good on my speakers.

[echo_blini]

I use soundcloud if I'm looking for something weird that isn't going to be on spotify, but I mostly use spotify. I also like using a CLI spotify client, and I don't know if such a thing exists for soundcloud.

[andrew_abrah]

I think Spotify, it's my favourite.

[silverCM]

I like Spotify for more popular and commercial music but for digging and finding something really rare definitely SoundCloud.
Also, SoundCloud has a really good algorithm for finding random good tracks.

[Spooky]

I honestly would recommend neither, subscriptions are disgusting. If you have iPhone I recommend downloading music on your PC and then rolling them over to your phone. Then you’ll never pay for something that is available for free.

[Kon6]

I personally do not really use either of them. Sometimes SoundCloud for finding unofficial remixes, bootlegs, mashups, and edits.

[InfiniteOnTop]

soundcloud has more shitty rappers with autotune
(and plus soundcloud has no ads and free unlimited skips)
but if you can afford spotify go for it
