Whoever runs the advertising and/or marketing campaigns for SparkNotes is an idiot, plain and simple: there's clickbait "blog posts" everywhere prompting users to "take a study break" when they actually need to get work done. Well, no more!
It's in its very early stages (aka I made it 20 minutes ago), but SparkBlock gets rid of the clickbait and will (in future updates) reclaim the space said buzzfeed-esque articles took up. I'm also considering fixing the awful UI and layout they have going for the "No Fear Shakespeare" comparisons, so that could be useful, too.
If you'd like to try it out, the browser extension is compatible with everything down to Chrome 20(ish). As always, additions and pull requests are welcome, so feel free to contribute.
