Maybe try adding a short description, because I think that a lot of people don't know what you're talking about. Thank you for sharing, downloading now.

RE: Source code grabber for windows #6
So does this tool grabs the html source code of a website/webpage? If so, then there are some other easier ways like, hosting a website with the one line php code for file_get_contents to grab the sourcecode and there are websites out there that does this as well. Well, atleast that is what i will do rather than downloading a separate executable for the task in hand. Anyway, thanks for sharing and hopefully someone will find it useful. (Y)

Just checked the tool. It's safe, the source doesn't contain any viruses but I highly doubt you guys have use for it (since it just grabs the HTML source of a webpage), and most people would just do this with curl or something.
You can download it, if you need it though.

Here is a screenshot of the tool:

@Byrdonawire It's a good thing you are learning to code. So please don't take this personal. I'm just giving advice to help you out. Please don't blame me for reverse engineering it.

1) You are using a webbrowser to grab the source code of a page. This is highly unnecessary. There is absolutely no need for a webbrowser control. You can easily do this in code (look below).

NOTE: You need to import the NET library for the webclient (Using System.NetWink

2) The first form that opens is way too big. It fills the full screen and that makes it kind of annoying. Keep it small. Also the fake progressbar usually doesn't add much extra. It's not hard to notice that the progressbar is fake, and people will get sketchy when they see it.

3) When you maximize the form, the controls do not grow with it. So either disable the ability to resize it and maximize it, or make the controls grow along with it. You can do it by following next steps:
Code:
1) Select the form 2) In the properties tab, set FormBorderStyle to anything except sizeable. 3) Disable the maximize button (also in properties).

This will fix a few issues with your program.

This ^^^

Removes a bunch of overhead. Using a http library instead of through the web browser is not only simpler but way more efficiently
