I have the 4's insanely comfortable, can wear all day and mic works pretty well but I'm guessing a crowded area might be not great. I find these way better than airpods imo in every way particularly sound, looks and fit.

Hum... mic is really unstable, no consistancy specialy when you are walking in the street in a crowded area or near the beach wwith winf... For rest totally agree with you

ive never had anyone complain
when i ask they say its fine
have you tried another pair, upgraded software or connected on another phone? Even in reviews the mic is considered decent but not great, can't imagine it being as bad as you've said lol.

Sony is known for that... Whatever, I like them and i will continue to say they are amazing, with bad conditions the microphone has problem just do a quick search and you will see a ton of posts, articles talking about this problem. .. BUT i have take them. For musiqmc. And audio not for chatting all days. And for this fonction: it's just pure dope for my ears. That's what matter
