Has anyone in the UK had any success SEing a Sony / nice camera? I have been eyeing up just the alpha a7iii possibly from WEX or Jessops, using the WIR method, just need to do more research on weights, cctv etc, interested if anybody has successfully done one recently?

I did follow along with your thread briefly, saw that you DNA’d - ideally I don't want to DNA on my Amazon account, can’t risk anything happening with it, even though its aged pretty well, I used it for business purposes. Fortunately a bad photo helped your case, failing that, would you have continued with a DNA?

No, I would’ve used a refunder my backup.

But as for you I’d go with WIR

Doesn’t necessarily need to be another camera. It’s enough when the item belongs zo the same category.
For example a lens, a camcorder etc.
make sure amazon is seller and sender for both the items

a7iii/a7iv user here, if you can afford it definitely go for the a7iv if the SE allows to do so, camera is better in every way imaginable for not a lot extra
