Have not SE'd in years but recently broke my TV. Is doing a smart TV impossible due to its size and value? I have my eyes set on higher end ones but willing to settle for lower range (~$300-400) Unfortunately, cannot go through Amazon as I ran too many refunds in the past. What are my options? Heard Walmart is dead.

The DNA (non-OTP delivery), and the disposed of the faulty Item method are both well suited.

In what respect?

just see numerous problem others are facing, not budging on signatures, PR which I'm presuming high value will trigger (police seem to be pretty active in my town too, not a lot of crime here), courier disputes, etc. for what it's worth I live near a parking lot so it's not like a thief would be out of the question but I wouldn't mention that. Wondering if other chains are more reasonable to order from like BestBuy or something or if I should attempt swapping hardware with a broken TV, though I don't have enough Intel on the success/intricacies for this.

Fake sign It with a name that's somewhat legible, and they'll have no grounds to justify It belongs to you.

I've had a PR request for a 40$ Item.
It's simply required for administration purposes, so there's no cause for concern.

Why not SE Best Buy?

What hardware are you referring to?

I have SE'd Best Buy in the past for a minor item but still have the same CC, also don't know how lax or strict they are haven't read much into it.

Old scam, get broken tv, buy same model, substitute serial stickers, return. The issue is there are other serial indicators in modern TV's that I'm unsure of. Serial can be viewed through menu settings, for example, but if I can fry the TV to death they might let it pass until it gets processed in returns then I don't know what goes on, whether it's actually inspected or just recycled (I'd hope to avoid rebill in that case). Can't find many recent successes with this though.

It's very likely they'll thoroughly check the return.

Yeah, it used to work but I thought better not risk, DNA is my only chance then? I doubt they will leave it at my address and I am unfamiliar with courier disputes.

I personally wouldn't use DNA on furniture or big items like TVs due to its weight and size.
Of course you could try DNA but the success rate might be higher with small items in a small package that's fast and easy loot for robbers rather than a freaking TV.
Keep in mind that you might face a longer process and/or a stat dec/affidavit or sometimes PR.
