When you said that it increases unnecessary population, that was a fair point.

But just because they do wrong, they shouldn't be killed. That's retarded.

Clearly we don't have the same views on things therefore I'll leave it at that instead of arguing about something we have little to no control over.

I understand. But we should at least make them actually help us then. Litter picking, cleaning etc. Rather than being sat in a cell.

I read about some place that they ride bikes for like 8 hours a day, and it powers most of a city, stuff like that is what i'd be for other than death penalties.

It's what the debate section is for. To show people each others views.

I was just interested in why you thought that. I wasn't trying to argue over it, I thought this was a debate thread.

That's quite interesting actually. I never heard about that before.

Definitely. Simply killing off people just because they did some wrong things doesn't change anything. Make them repent their sins and grieve over what they've done.

Yeah, true. I guess trying to make them a better person is better than killing them.

Just look at it this way. Whether you kill them or have them locked up, what change would that make to a society they aren't even participating in? None at all.

So if you give them the opportunity to change themselves then it's all good (even though if they become better people they will stay locked up)

I think that way because it's a logical way to think, do you really think with all the rapist's and murder's we have that we should just let them take up the prisons population? Cause, guess what happens when prisons overpopulate, we release prisoners on good behavior, that in the end really weren't being that good, and guess what they're back on the street. Did you see my post about the guy that committed two murders? He committed TWO MURDERS, HE KILLED TWO PEOPLE and got fucking house arrest and now, he escaped his monitor and is now on the streets due to either overpopulation or simply due to a damn good lawyer and a shitty system.
