Would be nice to see AI operate the phone to do much morr advance tasks like running and monitoring an app for me

depends what you need.

pro's have better cameras and the refresh rate is higher. AI features and stuff arent super important unless you use siri a lot.

currently the best overall would be the base iPhone 17. iPhone 16 Pro & Pro Max's are starting to strongly drop in price.

If you can wait, wait until christmas
