I'm seeing if anyone could help me locate a S/N for an  MSI Trident3.
I'm looking for a picture of the serial number and barcode attached with it from the box or back of desktop.
If anyone could help me out that would be great!

Try hitting up Craigslist. Search up the item you're looking for and message the seller saying something along the lines of:

"Hey there, I'm interested in your laptop but I want to verify the S/N with MSI, do you think you could send me the serial number just so I can verify with support that it's legit?"

Most times people will turn you away because it sounds like a total scam (which it is) but sometimes you'll occasionally have a seller who will be willing.

I've checked Craigslist and ebay, but there are none that I have found unfortunately.

You'd use it when you contact the company and complain the product has a fault such as leaking or overheating. And they will ask for the S/N as proof, how you go about convincing them depends on the company and product of course.

I have updated the OP, as I found what I was looking for, but I am also looking for another serial number if anyone can help.
