I am just curious if any of you have harmed yourself before. I am talking about cutting and if you have, how have you kept it a secret? I promised my fiance I would never do it again but things were too much and I did it last night. She will never know cause we are states apart right now but it hurts me cause I promised her I would never do it again. I am sorry for putting this on here but I have nobody else to turn to.

No, but I have thought about it a couple of times in the past, but I was young and stupid back then.

I have really never thought about self harm, I hate paper cuts and cuts of every kind so I probably would find no joy in cutting myself. I have no clue why you cut yourself and I don't want to judge you for doing so. But I just want to say that it's not smart and in the long run it will hurt the ones you love

I do it near my wrists and my arm, sometimes my legs but I've been clean for 2 weeks and some change.

Why is self harm even an option?
Like how does it help?
Is it the pain?
