Sealed box on Amazon for Nanoleaf lights #1
For a long time I've been eyeing the Nanoleaf Elements light panels on Amazon; they come into starter kits containing 7 or 13 panels, weighing 1,88kg and 3,87kg respectively.
By watching unboxing videos on YouTube, I noticed they come into a paper box with no plastic wrap around it: the only thing keeping the lid of the box closed is 2 round, transparent adhesive stickers.

My plan would go like this: after carefully peeling the stickers off, I'd take most light panels out, adhesives, controller, etc., then I'd fill the box with useless stuff to get back to the exact original weight, while covering up said useless stuff by putting 1-2 of the light panels on top (I don't need all of them, and I could easily get more by repeating this SE on another account should it work on the first time).
I'd then seal everything back as original (those stickers can be easily bought even in local craft shops).

What are the chances of Amazon opening the box to check its contents, given the seals (although easily replaceable, both by a buyer or an Amazon warehouse worker) look untouched and the weight hasn't changed at all?
And what to do should box get discovered? Would buying from Amazon Warehouse make any difference in that scenario (by saying stuff like "you sent me used stuff without checking it beforehand, I didn't even open the box and sent back exactly what I received from you")? Would that be credible?

P.S. I own an aged account with Prime on it, quite a bunch of legit orders throughout the last month and last SE (EB) done 2 months ago.

Amazon Warehouse deals are checked at various number of points so ISSUES(your made up excuse which you will be giving to the REP) on warehouse deal will be problematic I GUESS!

ORDER & Target the fresh new one. Your plan sounds good to me, but IF THEY OPEN AND CHECK YOUR RETURN WILL MAKE THEM TO PAUSE-HOLD YOUR REFUND till they get correct item back; but lets not forget its amazon they sometimes refund you your money even before your return has reached to their FC<--In this particular window if you get your refund then its a success I belive XDDD

Chances of them OPENING AND CHECKING your return specifically? NO IDEA, but as per what I've researched on web "costly item/high ticket item" & i faintly remember reading somewhere long ago "A FEW% of returned items"** go through their ADVANCE DETECTION DEPARTMENT** for close monitoring/inspection.
**Note:-That A FEW% part, WHETHER they randomly select what all items will be going through that AD-Department or if it is the Warehouse's RETURNS PROCESSING ASSOCIATE does it on his own/randomly//have daily targeted quota/or is when confused IS NOT KNOWN TO ME ATLEAST!

If you seal the box carefully which looks fine & fresh & UNTOUCHED; I GUESS YOUR SE will be success given your refund is processed BEFORE they "open & check the box"!
But if they open it, expect refund to be pause/holded & also a mail from OFM too XDDDD

I imagined so, thanks for warning me against it.

There's always a possibility the return will be opened.

Resealing It to perfection, will significantly minimize the risk of being checked.

It can be returned for a legit refund by saying you were In a rush, and mistakenly packed the Incorrect Item In the box.

As to why It was resealed to perfection, you were concerned that an open/damaged box would void the refund, hence returned It In Its original state.

No.

Goods sold via Amazon Warehouse Deals go through a 20-point Inspection prior to dispatch.

I actually successfully SE'd nanoleaf lights from amazon a few days ago using the DNA method. Very straightforward. They just asked me to fill out an IR. Might be a better option than your sealed box method. Best of luck.

I've always tried avoiding the DNA method due to 2 facts mostly: I somewhat "know" close to all of the couriers operating in my area and moreover, given the structure of my house, it would be scarcely believelable for a parcel to go missing even if left unattended outside the door (let's say there's no way one could steal it)

This sound good to go, if its dna'ble then opt for the same. xD
