I'm just wondering what video screen recording software people use.

I currently only use fraps which only works on applications so I'm looking for something I can use to record desktop tutorials, etc.

You can use fraps to record your desktop, you just need to check/uncheck an option I forgot what one it is but I'm pretty sure it has the word Desktop in it, look for that and see what happens.

Camtasia Studio. That's what I use. It's by far the best.

Use Camtasia Studio 8. It is far better for recording your desktop.

Another vote for camtasia. It's great for recording, not so great for editing.
