Dry ice would work too, but I just went with stuffing some rolls of packing tape and foam, along with something to weight it down (I think I went with a bunch of coins lol).

That happened to me with Amz. They wouldn't buldge one bit, even though the police clearly didn't want to get involved. Nobody wanted to take responsibility for it. Brutal.

Okay, update time:
I filed a chargeback request with my bank. While waiting for that, I called Samsung several more times. Eventually Samsung caved, and approved my refund. They were stubborn, but persistence paid off.
Previous Samsung SE w/ Boxing method was unbelievably easy.
