Yes, I believe so tbh. In the rule I do see  the ip as * set for 443 which I know is the SSL strip but I don't see anything for 445 it's quite frustrating maybe it's just the router setup?

When you closed the port, did you reboot the Router?

No I did not

For changes to take effect, a lot of Routers require a reboot.
