Received an email and this is what they said:
"Thank you for your patience. My name is Hermione, I am a Senior Advisor and will be your future point of contact for your case.
I have initiated a UPS investigation on your behalf regarding the status of your order ******. UPS may take up to 10 business days to provide a solution, so I would kindly ask for your patience while they work to track the exact whereabouts of your packages.
Should you require further assistance, please reply to this email. As soon as I have an update from UPS, you will be informed immediately."

Under the circumstances of your claim, It's pretty much standard procedure to open an external Investigation with the carrier.

The next course of action (If any) will be based on their reply. Off-topic, If I was In the rep's shoes, the first thing I'd do Is go to Births, Deaths and Marriages and have my name changed.
