If so, once you submit a query and then hold the right arrow key, It will complete all or part (whatever you prefer) of the query you've just submitted.

Please elaborate on the first part of your second point, preferably with a screenshot. I've never experienced an arrow key to register a symbol. It does what I've stated above. To navigate back to the parenthesis (double brackets), the left arrow key does just that. Whether you need to go back to an array of subqueries or on It's own, there's no difference.

The up arrow key will take you to all prior queries submitted In the same SQL session.

I'm working from the terminal as of right now.
To the second question: When I hit right arrow on my keyboard, this shows "^[[C". So, this limits me going back to my previous comment or, scrolling through my code to do any fixes.
