So, to make long story short, I'm SEing a lock pick set for a friend of mine.

Though I can't come up with an excuse good enough for them to send a new set.

I mean, I'm used to SEing electronics, but you can't really say "my lock pick's screen is flickering", can you?

Have any of you guys got any ideas?

Anything you come to think about is great.

You could tell them: one was bent, i ordered diamond not ruby, the shaft isn't smooth(wasn't cut right during manufacturing), the coating is scratched, one was missing from the kit, the case wasn't wasnt properly sewn, packaged looked open and pieces look used. They might be different for each hand since one hand holds the tumblers and one hand spins.
