SEing a Gateway 14.1 ultra slim notebook #1
I have a new Gateway 14.1 ultra slim notebook it’s still in the wrapped box. I do want to keep this computer but I’m trying to figure out the best way to start my SE because the whole background of gateway is kind of confusing with what I was just researching, they were bought by Acer in 2007 but Acer does not make them it’s some random manufacturer and they only work and sell with Walmart and I do not have proof or purchase. Is anybody familiar with this or have any ideas for me on how I should start this ? I want to acquire another one so I definitely planned on doing something on the lines of battery leakage, had to dispose of for safety concerns but I haven’t put much thought or research into that yet, I just acquired this and realized that gateway is pretty confusing so thought I’d reach out here first!!! I’d really appreciate it!

From CNET;

"The Gateway brand is under license from Acer America, which bought Gateway in 2007. The laptops aren't made by Acer but by another manufacturer, listed as GPU Company. They are exclusive to Walmart"
