The most Important thing Is the method.

As per my recent quote In another thread, the "wrong Item received" method works well with apparel. It can be any stock Item that's roughly the same weight.

Do they have a lot of cheap stock items at these designers?

I haven't researched the company, so I wouldn't have a clue.

That's the OP's job.

I refunded Louis Vitron long time ago. Was pretty easy.

Keep in mind LV support is very very slow. Sometimes it takes them two weeks to answer e-mail.

Is there a need for the weights to be exact or is it a matter around about that weight?

Some carriers round up the weight to the nearest figure, so It doesn't have to be exact.

As close as possible will suffice.

Therefore it would be a pretty much fool proof method unless they state they have cctv footage etc?

As long as they stock the wrong Item, you can't really go wrong.

Pickers make errors "every day", some more than others and every warehouse Is aware of this- which further supports your claim. They're not going to do a stock take for one Item, hence they have very little grounds to decline It.

I've worked for a company where they check CCTV footage everytime there is a mistake.
Sometimes just calling enough times and wasting their time is enough to win your claim
