RE: SE to financial freedom #11
I had an old irl friend who done it plenty in the UK and got addicted to doing it… PlayStations and MacBooks on Amazon around 5-6 yrs back and got chased out the country by the police once enough complaints had been lodged against him and he was making too much money. Was selling the hardware to Chinese stores and phone stores etc.

Last I heard 2 yrs ago, he was in the Philippines with an Amazon insider he had got on his books to process refunds for him.

He was the reason I got into occasional SEing and guided me through getting a MacBook on Amazon like 6 years ago, great guy lol

Definitely possible to SE to financial freedom, at least on the short term (2-3 years). Not sustainable in the long run though, plus it’s sometimes hard to keep hubris in check. I might or might not be pushing $20K in value this month but in any case I wouldn’t want to keep that rhythm for too long.

It’s like everything in life. Do not take risks you can’t afford and above all, try not to be dumb. Spoiler alert: you always end up being dumb and making mistakes. It’s a matter of when, not if. And if you’re playing big, a dumb mistake can cost you a lot.

Sounds like a really great guy lol, was he doing it on Amazon only or across multiple companies?

Coz I would assume companies do not communicate with each other, and if one company goes all the way to court, I would just pay back however much they discover and continue with other companies.

Usually companies would close the case as long as they got back their money?

Also I have tried to search court order/ criminal case related to SE and did not seem to find anything on google or here. Seems super rare or close to non-existence? Sorry if I am ignorant.

My contact tells me that they can do it on many stores and even on new accounts.

They must be stuffing themselves, but it takes a lot of time for us to do that much.

I agree, the refund company's ad on the forum are living proofs.

Without knowing exactly their method, does anyone have a clue?
I think about it all the time, I try to understand...

My theory is that they have someone on the inside.
It's impossible to SE 10k with otp, and multiple packages.

I once paid an agent and tried to learn from him. The agent was located in the US and helped me with an order in the UK and he also seemed to be able to do any companies.

I asked him with help me with an Amazon order but when I open the chat history after its done, there were no record whatsoever. Almost like magic.

This month only. There’s not secret, it’s just the same good old methods and hard-ish work. Don’t ever pay anyone to give you tips, you can research and figure this shit out by yourself.

RE: SE to financial freedom #15
You gotta hit high valued targets to make it possible not to mention even if the target was high valued you also have to SE customer service rep. Lots of times I ran into issues where they were not enough reps available which means I can SE someone if I spoke to them yesterday or the week before

The more reps the company has the better.
You need to be good at scheduling drops
You can’t have high anxiety or be scared
Be prepared to be burned and handle it with care or the company will change their methods and you’re screwed
You don’t always have to go after a item if a refund cheque is possible just don’t use your own bank account or someone you know
A decent score will take all day so partner with a friend. One goes to the drop the other does SE trust me this help a lot

Again if you lucky enough to find high valued targets where you don’t run into the same CS rep more than twice a month which means you need to take down notes of who you talk to

Oh yeah last tip, find someone who is good at photoshop for your team . Teams can always use a good photoshopper

Agree, don’t think you’ll live off SE unless you have a sweet score going and some skin in the game, Take a large chunk of that open a legit business

Pay off your bills months in advance

I think the more money you need, the harder it will be to live on SE. Also, there is always a chance that you will get a rebill. It's usually unlikely but possible. And if you have bills to pay, this is of course bad.

I don't want to deny that it is possible. There are certainly many who live from it. You just have to know exactly what you are doing.

If your plan is really as follows:

My theory (in UK):
Month 1 - Amazon account 1, Apple, Argos
Month 2 - Amazon account 2, John Lewis, Curry PC
Month 3 - Paypal, Samsung, HP
Month 4 - Ebay, ASUS, Google phone etc

What method will you use then? Will this continue to work in the future?

Wow, this is incredible. I saw your SE list for this year so far in another post and you are a legend (so with all other experts here).

Just wondering are you using one account or multiple accounts on each companies?

And what are you planning to do with all your gains? You can definitely afford a house!

That's true, probably should keep my job as a backup lol.

I am interested to see much can a set of personal information can yield easily in total. And then start duplicating accounts? With new set of bank, phone, number, drop house etc.

Also heard that social marketing would work? Where one finds frds, family or ppl over dating app? Say each set of fresh detail yield 10k in 3 months? And you give 1k and pocket 9k?

Is that feasible?

Everything In Moderation. Doing fraud as a "job" is not only a secure way to encounter legal problems, it will also not lead to fulfillment in your life.
trying to square the circle.

Multiple accounts. Doing this to settle some credit card debt and buy a new car. What can I say, I like fancy stuff...

This. Exactly this. There's no romanticizing any of it. It sounds cool, it can certainly be fun and thrilling, but it's by no means fulfilling. It should only be done short term to achieve very specific goals.
