Well you have another option, that being to give a false signature and claim that ino one came to your house to imply a misdelivery, also if this is from amazon.ca any purchase under 1300$ CAD will not require a signature and this is  even with tax included the base market value just has to be 1300$ or less good luck!

I don't remember the last time I've had to sign for something from Amazon either, good advice.
