Hey.
I went emailing about 10 top gaming chair companies using multiple methods. None worked, most of them offered replacing the parts, but none went on an AR.
I went with the refund way.
I found an old xrocker gaming chair outside, went on amazon, ordered the most expensive chair, returned the xrocker, saying i got the correct item, but wrong model.
Refunded in 3days top.

The OP's request was over 6 months ago.
It'll be Interesting to read whether the SE succeeded.

Maybe if you tried paypal dispute there would be a chance? paypal disputes are usually "item" not "chair" you can describe it as if it was a battery item or something, maybe - I have not confirmed this
