SE fail? #1
Planning on DNAing asos and just realised I’ve paid with a giftcard fully. I read their terms and they said that for purchases made solely by gift cards I’ll receive account balance as a refund even though I have a payment method linked. Does anyone know where I’d be able to sell an account with balance as I don’t want this to be a failed SE?

If you're referring to a gift card bought from another site/store like a prepaid visa then you will receive a normal refund back into it. If you mean a store specific gift card, basically an ASOS card with balance, then you will receive the balance back into that one

As I said as it’s an ASOS specific card I undertsand it will be credited to my balance.
Know where I can sell the balance/account ?

@aidandv about where you could sell it, I guess you can try creating a thread in the market forum. Or you can just keep the balance, run couple normal orders and try to hit again later.

If the claim Is approved, tell ASOS you no longer have access to the GC and would like the funds debited to your CC.

How would I not have access to the account if I’m contacting support on it

I'm referring to the gift card/voucher, not the online account It's registered to.

Maybe I’m being slow so i wanna make sure everything is clear. As I paid solely with a voucher, in their terms they will refund me via topping up my asos account balance. Nothing to do with giving me a giftcard or anything, just money on the acciunt

I'm trying to clarify the events, which both the above and below messages are contradictory.

Does the gift card exist or not? Or are you Interpreting the voucher as the gift card?

Is It only the voucher that's linked to your ASOS account?

If so, will the voucher be debited with the refund?

I’m confused af rn,
I paid with a gift voucher that I had purchased.
I check their terms, if you paid solely with a voucher or giftcard (I paid solely with voucher) your account balance is topped up with the amount that is refundable.
