I recently bought a couple of bubble envelopes for various SE's. It occurred to me what equipment you might "need" or what you "should" have for various methods (that require some kind of modification).

Can you recommend something? e.g. which seal, devices, etc. is best for the SB method or has the best advantages?

Another question about dry ice: Is there a way to order dry ice and then "cool" it at home? You can usually only order >15kg dry ice on the Internet. But that is a) too much and b) too expensive to only use the EB method in between.

There should be smaller amounts of dry ice available at certain supermarkets. Do a little searching and make some calls.

I usually only get it when I'm ready to ship anyway, as it doesn't last very long.

Minimum 10LB, might be too less dry ice for EU export. As @GreatLimbo said, I might take a trip to the local market.

Away from dry ice, are there any more equipment suggestions?
