[hide]I'm usually seeing questions arise about how to get free Microsoft points, and free Xbox Live Gold.

There is actually a fairly simple method, granted, some people already know of this method, though a Google search hasn't brought up anything as exact as this.

Firstly, the risk;

-If you are caught doing this, your PayPal account could be suspended - though that is about the only risk to be honest

As long as you don't overdo it, you should be fine.

This will require the same amount of money as 800 Microsoft Points costs. So, for example, if 800 Microsoft Points cost, $5, you need to have $5. Don't worry though, you'll get it back if you do everything correctly.

Step 1. Buy your Microsoft Points. Make sure you buy them through the console dashboard though, Account >> Add Microsoft Points

It is important to get it through the dashboard as otherwise they may detect it.

Step 2. Wait until the next Friday.

Step 3. On Friday Night, either UK/US time, open a dispute in PayPal for not having received the item. DO NOT DO AN UNAUTHORISED, that WILL get you suspended and marked for fraud.

Step 4. Wait 7 days, or until whenever PayPal states it will close the dispute, once closed, you get your money back. You can also escalate the odd-one, but don't escalate all of them, just to speed the process up.

Step 5. Rinse and repeat.

Do not do it too much, only a couple times a month, to get more out of it, order more Microsoft Points at once, ie 4000 per purchase[/hide]
