SE Query #1
Howdy,

Purchased myself a bottle of Aftershave from "TheFragranceShop" bottle arrived I claimed the box smells like aftershave and is damp so I assume it has leaked or been broken In transit.

They would like photos of the items (defects) and outer packaging.

What are my next steps do you think?

Regards

Use the corrupted file method or preferably Photoshop It.

How does one go about the corrupted file method? This is a new method to me.

And I am trash at PS so haha

I would just stage a wet box and make the bottle look like it's dripping. Water would be easier than photoshop
this is all hypothetical.

Really adds a new meaning to "double dipping". Cool

I think you have to consider that aftershave has some sort of alcohol component that makes it evaporate faster than water. So you can't have the box look like it's soaking wet.

May have to use a bit of alcohol to stage this.

I have plenty of white spirit and other high alcohol liquids with fast evaporation I could possibly use,

Thank you

Moreover, It may have evaporated In transit, hence there'll be no signs of spillage on receipt of goods.

Be calculated when using this approach by saying that the moment you opened the box and carefully took out the Item, It Immediately started to leak. Photos can be taken thereafter showing full signs of the damage.
